Alex Wong

As a renewables portfolio manager for The Energy Authority, Alex Wong serves as the renewable energy subject matter expert.  He also leads the renewable RFP process and aims to provide TEA’s clients with a methodological and unbiased process to select affordable, appropriate, goal-oriented renewable energy projects. An experienced professional in the energy industry, Alex led TEA’s efforts on renewable resource costs projections and revenue impacts of increased renewables generation. 

Alex originally joined TEA in 2011 as a Structure and Pricing Analyst who specialized in portfolio modeling, resource planning, rate analysis, renewable energy research and development, and fundamental analysis of power markets.  During a brief hiatus, he served as the Jet Fuel Supply Manager at SeaTac Airport, overseeing jet fuel lifecycle from nomination to distribution of over 500 million gallons of jet fuel per year.
