Hannah McGovern

In her role as V.P. of Capital Markets for DSD, Hannah is responsible for raising debt and tax equity for DSD’s projects at each stage of their lifecycle. Hannah manages a team based in NYC, dedicated to negotiating and transacting on these funds. She is also a member of the Investment Management Team where she advises on project opportunities from the Capital Markets perspective.

[Previous Work History] Hannah began her career at NewWorld Capital, a private equity firm investing in environmental opportunities. At NewWorld she focused on Project Finance opportunities in the solar and waste-to-value sectors. In 2017, Hannah joined the Project Finance & Infrastructure team at CIBC where she focused on executing back-leverage and construction debt for utility-scale renewable projects, as well as financing for traditional infrastructure projects. Hannah has been with DSD for over three years, having joined in February 2020.

Hannah earned her BAs in Politics and Environmental Science from New York University (2015) and received her MSc in Sustainable Urban Development from Oxford University (2017). Hannah lives in Brooklyn (the best NYC borough) and enjoys exploring new restaurants and cooking over the weekend to decompress.
