Sameer Soleja

Sameer Soleja is the founder and CEO of Molecule, the modern ETRM/CTRM platform. Sameer founded Molecule in 2012 to revolutionize outdated legacy software, improve users’ productivity and quality of life, and help them get more value from their trade risk system. While cloud technology and software-as-a-service had revolutionized other industries, the energy industry was still lagging behind – and he wanted to help make that change happen.

Sameer has over 20 years of experience in ETRM/CTRM product management and solutions. Before Molecule, Sameer spent ten years at SunGard, BearingPoint, and Stryve Advisors, where he designed, developed, and implemented software systems for energy trading companies. After attending business school, he was inspired to create Molecule, a cloud-native SaaS app that is more functional, user-friendly, and cost-effective than on-prem, legacy ETRM/CTRM systems.

He received his MBA and MPA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Texas at Austin.
