Carole Mariani

Carole is the Director of Origination at energyRe, an IPP building transmission, offshore wind, and onshore renewables.  Carole oversees sourcing, negotiation, and execution of offtake agreements for the utility-scale renewable portfolio, working with all customer categories including corporates, industrials, utilities, and other load-serving entities.

Carole joined energyRe from Broad Reach Power, where she also worked in origination, negotiating transactions to support an asset base of standalone storage. Carole previously served in several positions over eight years at Calpine, where she led valuation and pricing activities for acquisitions, divestitures, and project development on the Corporate Financial Analysis team and spent time on the Structuring and Portfolio Analysis teams working with and optimizing returns for wind, solar, thermal, and storage assets.

Carole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Philosophy from Rice University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
